Knights Notes-12/2: Neahusen and Grace take down Shorter, 4 MHS teams prepare for preseason finale

Welcome to Knights Notes, a daily recap and preview of all the stuff happening with Knights athletics and former Middletown athletes.

The winter sports season will see some action tonight as both girls basketball teams and both boys basketball teams have scrimmages tonight. We’ll have previews for those later in the day.

Without further ado, here are your Knights Notes for December 2nd:

- Emma Neahusen and the Grace College women’s soccer team started off the National Christian Colleges Athletic Association (NCCAA) DI Women’s Soccer tournament the right way taking down Shorter University by a score of 4-0. Neahusen would record 4 minutes of action in the Lancer’s win. (Link)

- JV Girls Basketball will host a tri-scrimmage between them, North Carroll High School, and Linganore as they embark on their final preparations before the season opener on Dec. 5th. (Link

- Varsity Girls Basketball will host the same two teams in a tri-scrimmage tonight as Amy Poffenbarger’s troops prepare for their opener also on Friday against Brunswick. (Link)

- JV Boys Basketball will head up to Clear Spring for their preseason finale at 5:30 p.m. today. (Link)

- Varsity Boys Basketball will also look to finish the preseason on a high note when they head up to Clear Spring today and take on the Blazers at 7 p.m. (Link)
