Winning After MidKnight
With a crop of kids who have never
played high school sports and a large majority of them never having been
evaluated by the eyes of high school coaches the first 2 to 3 weeks of the
season become all about evaluating the new talent at the freshmen level and
determining where those players fit into the team.
That will hold true for Middletown and
they will get a good chance to evaluate where the freshmen and where the team
as a whole is when they scrimmage the Winston Churchill High School Bulldogs at
5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th.
The Knights have a large contingent of
freshmen and will look to separate the ones who will be receiving playing time
from those who won’t be receiving a large amount of playing time after their
scrimmage against the Bulldogs.
Middletown will also look to see if
the freshman trio of Jack Hodos, Joseph Glover, and Chase Ganley can show any
promise for Middletown as they have been tabbed as the upcoming stars of
Middletown Boys Lacrosse.
