Junior Varsity Boy's Soccer: Middletown Hopes to Answer Questions Versus Century

The Middletown High School Knights Junior Varsity Boy’s Soccer team will kick off their season when they take on the Century High School Knights at Knights Field at 5:30 p.m.

Middletown comes into this game with a spate of talent and will look to use that to their advantage as they take on the other Knights.

Leading the charge on the offensive side for Middletown will be sophomore midfielder Graham Brown as the Knights have lots of talent up front and will look to use that to their advantage when they take on Century.

If there is one area that the Knights face question marks in it will be in between the posts as the Knights official roster only lists one goalie in the form of freshman Daniel Robison. Middletown’s starting goalie last year David Anderson was moved up to Varsity as a sophomore leaving the Knights with not a lot of options in between the posts.

Countering the situation is the strong Knights defense that will be between Robison and the opposing offenses and attempt to limit the amount of chances that Century will get on goal tonight.

Leading the defense for Middletown will be sophomores John Fisher and Eric McMunn who will attempt to provide a stabilizing sense for the Knights on the back line.
