Junior Varsity Girl's Soccer: Knights Take Care of Business

By Ben Spector
Winning After MidKnight

The Middletown High School Knights Girl’s Soccer team has started off their season as the Knights have won each of their first two games by multiple goal margins and besides the first 55 minutes of the 70 minute contest have held the play.

They’d hold the play just again as the Knights would cruise to a 3-0 victory over the North Hagerstown High School Hubs at Knights Field at Middletown High School on Tuesday September 13th.

From the jump Middletown appeared to be the better team as Middletown pushed the pace of play from an offensive standpoint and prohibited the Hubs from getting many chances on goal as this was a game in which Middletown held almost from the jump.

The Knights would be rewarded for their strong play as they would get goals early and often as their aggressive play would set the tone for the rest of the game as Middletown would pick up goals quickly.

Unlike their last game in which Middletown had to come from behind quickly to take the victory from the Brunswick High School Railroaders things would come much more smoothly for the Knights as they jumped out to the lead early against the Hubs and never looked back.
