JV Volleyball: Knights play adjustment game

Winning After MidKnight

The Middletown High School Junior Varsity Volleyball team will open their season on Tuesday September 6th as they take on the Liberty Lions from Ron Engle Court at Middletown High School at 6:00 p.m.

The Knights come into this game with the Lions still trying to figure out what players will fit into their pieces this season and will most likely do some experimenting during the Lions’ contest by putting different people in different situations to get a feel for how they react.

Don’t take this as the Knights giving up an inch as Middletown still has goals of winning the contest and heading into their next match-up with the Urbana High School Hawks, one of the tougher teams in Frederick County with a 1-0 record.

Traditionally, Liberty has been one of the fair to middling teams in Carroll County but has shown flashes of brilliance and their Junior Varsity team is no different as the Lions will give the Knights a close game.
