Winning After MidKnight
Today is
Sunday September 11th and for so many people out there that date
doesn’t conjure up memories of anything but September 11th, 2001, a
date that is forever ingrained in American history. In our worst moments, our
darkest hours hope was a beacon. We as Americans joined together and were for a
brief spell just Americans. While we talk about sports some things are bigger
than sports and who won what. 9/11 is one of those things, and yet sports after
9/11 is one of the things that helped heal America the most. So, here at Winning After MidKnight we’ll still talk
about the sports and the games today. But, we also ask that you take a moment
and reflect on today. Do a good deed. Help someone in need. Hug a loved one.
Tell someone how much you love them. Because, 15 years ago 2,977 people did
those exact same things for the last time and they had no idea that it would be
there last time. Life is too short to live not saying the things we mean.

treat as they would notch their first win of the season under the lights in

during the game but did not start. (Link)

States but it took on a Middletown tilt yesterday as Parker Johnson (’12) and

a moderate day for the Maryland Volleyball team as they would split their two
matches to record a second place finish at the Georgetown Classic. In the first
game the Terps would fall just short of completing a comeback as after going
down to Towson 2-0 after two sets the Terps would come storming back tying it
at two sets as piece but would fall just short in the 5th and final
set. Then in the 2nd match the Terps would dispatch Georgetown with
