Winning After MidKnight

It’s a light day in the world of Middletown Athletics as we are more in waiting for the main fall sports season to start than anything else. There are a couple small scrimmages coming up but not anything major so for now read the Knights Notes for August 25th, kick back, enjoy the nice weather, and dream of football season.

Yesterday’s News

- The Middletown Knights Golf had their best outing of the season yesterday as they swiped Boonsboro and Brunswick by a score of 157-178-180 as they improved their record to an even 3-3. Our recap of the match will be coming later tonight.

- Connor Myers and the South Bend Cubs had a crazy one against the West Michigan Whitecaps knocking them off by a score of 11-10 in 10 innings after blowing a 9-2 lead. Myers did not play in the Cubs’ loss. (Link)

Knight of the Day: It’s another day another golfer getting the honor as this time Middletown sophomore Joey Weiland will get the honor. The young gun shot a -2 under 34 to lead the Knights to victory against Boonsboro and Brunswick.
